ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi. It appears that you have an infection or a URTI ( Upper respiratory tract infection). This may be viral or bacterial. The sore throat, draining sinuses, tender cervical lymph nodes and feverish feeling all point to an infection.

They may all be interrelated too. In my opinion a sinus infection can lead to all the other symptoms. The infected discharge from the sinus can trickle back into your throat and cause soreness of the throat. The infected mucous can also block or travel up the Eustachian tube and make you feel like your ears are warm or blocked. This can also explain why your head hurts when you cough.

In my opinion you need a course of antibiotics, oral anti-inflammatory medications, saline nasal sprays for your sinusitis and an antiseptic oral rinse/gargles for your sore throat for about 5 days. It is recommended that you see your physician or an ENT specialist for an evaluation to confirm these findings and to get a prescription for these medications.

You can expect complete recovery within a weeks time. Do let me know if you have any other questions.
