What Does Spotting After Sexual Encounter Mean?

I got my period, it lasted 6 days, I wasn t completely done with my period, but I had sex and I thought my period was going away, but it s almost like a light period almost spotting type of thing that came a day later after the sex. What does that mean?

When you have not done your periods completely the internal lining of the uterus(endometrium) has not healed completely and there are still some capillaries and small arterioles in a state of bleeding and the surface is raw :in that state when you have intercourse ,you may expect some bleeding the next day over ;which is not clinically problematic and will go in another day's time ,so nothing to worry and it will not harm your health.All the best!
