Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Bleeding after a positive urine pregnancy test can be due to abortion. I suggest you to consult a gynecologist for taking up blood test for beta HCG. Serial beta HCG needs to be done to determine if abortion has taken place.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
