What Does Sticky Layer On Top Of Penis Head Of A Teenager Mean?

I am 15 years old, and I am unfortunately a frequent masturbator. I have developed a sticky layer on top of my penis head. I am circumcised, and I have never had sexual intercourse. I know that this layer cannot impregnate a woman but I just want this sticky layer to be completely off. How do I do that?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for reaching out.

I understand your concern. Usually whether circumcised or not smegma develops in all males and also females. It is collection of dead skin cells, body oil or secretion and moisture.

It is advisable to gently wash with water and mild soap daily, and rinse with water completely and pat it dry. This usually helps to reduce smegma.

Hope this helps,
Take care
Regards,
Dr Vignan Rachabattuni
