What Does Sticky Mucus In Stool Indicate?

I ve been struggling to poo for the last 2 days (I have managed to have poo twice) in the last couple of hours I ve had the feeling to go and when I ve gone to the toilet a clear sticky mucas comes out instead of poo.. I m finding this really uncomfortable and really painful. Could you please be able to tell me what it is

Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
Noted your history of difficulty in passing poop and now you could do twice, but then there is clear sticky mucus is coming out which is uncomfortable, and really painful.
The commonest causes of such a situation are as follows:
There can be amoebiasis causing all this.
There can be polyp or a mass.
I would advise you the following:
First of all, send the sample of the stool for tests.
Get started on an antibiotic and metronidazole.
Also take Probiotic and anti-spasmodic is the pain is intolerable.
Check for weakness and take electrolyte solution too.
IF there is no relief and complete cure within 5 days you need colonoscopy and biopsy and further management as per the requirement and the reports.
