What Does Sudden Gush Of Clear Watery Discharge Mean?

Hi, I am a 24 yr old woman and today I gushed out a clear watery liquid and it soaked my underwear. I have never had this happen before. TMI but it soaked through my tampon which there was hardly any blood on it, went past my tampon and completely soaked my underwear.. have you ever heard of this? is it that I may be pregnant?

Understand your concern
I think about following possibility in case of What does sudden gush of clear watery discharge.
1. Physiological: In some women during the mid time of cycle (at the time of ovulation) sudden gush of water discharge will occur. It is due to increase in LH hormone. It is normal and disappear with in few days.

Chance of pregnancy is less.
2. Cervicitis/cervicl erosion
- Following are the causes of cervicitis:
Infections: bacterial vaginosis, chlamydia, gonorrhea
Irritation : due to condom and diaphragm used, tampon use, friction injury
Hormonal imbalance: Low estrogen and high progesterone,
Allergy to condoms and chemical.

For cevicitis : proper vaginal examination required to find cervcitis.

Treatment depends on the cause of problem. Maintain hygiene and use V vaginal plus wash to maintain hygiene, use condoms during intercourse if you have not allergy.
