What Does Sugar Level Of 87 Suggest?

my sugar was 67 this evening around 6 pm I haven t ate since 10 this morning because I have been sleep for the majority of the day because I have some type of virus with chills and fever like symptoms. Just checked it it is now 87 . Usually it is higher, is it due to this virus

Hello welcome to HCM.
You haven't mentioned actually that u r diabetic or not, because if u r a diabetic patient than this sugar levels indicate a good control. Only the viral fever and Fasting has bring it down.
My advice to you is..
*If u r a diabetic patient than please don't extand Fasting while on medicines because chances of low blood sugar is high.
*Check your FBS, PP2BS AND HBA1c report every 3 monthly for adequate control of diabetis.
*You can go for HBA1c level to diagnose even that you have diabetes or not. HBA1c >6.5 indicate diabetes.
At present nothing to worry.
Kindly mention your medical history next time
