What Does Swelling And Redness In The Right Eye Indicate?

Hi, can I answer your health question? Please type your question here... My Fiance has a problem with his right eye. It has some swelling, red and has a white discharge. Could you tell me what is wrong with him? Is there any OTC medicine we could get to put on it?

He might be suffering from Conjunctivitis. So an antibiotic eye drops like gatifloxacin or moxifloxacin 4 times a day, along with a lubricating eye drops with an antibiotic eye ointment like ocupol or cd eye ointment should help him.
