Hi Doctor, I have had a bulge on both sides just below my ribs. I would say that one is around the spleen area. The other is at the top of my stomach. I have had off and on and sometimes very bad diarrhea for two years. After a heart attack ,I got C-Diff in the hospital which was cleared with medicine. Now, I am mostly house bound because I never know when I have to run to the bathroom. I take Imodium to help when I need to. One dr said I should take one every day. Not convinced that I should do that. I am 77 yrs old. Thank you for your help. Robin T. Ellis

You really need to see a gastroenterologist and get a colonoscopy. This is not normal and you may not have completely cleared the C. Diff. Please seek care as soon as possible
