My son had a bike wreck and ingured his hand. the fatty part of his hand between his index finger and thumb is swollen and pretty bruised up. should we get this xrayed or is there really anything in that area that could be broken?. his thumb and finger are not swollen only the part between. he says it is sore and when he tries to move his thumb it feels like his hand is trying to cramp up in that area.
