Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My father is age 90. He has had recent fractures requiring a lot of time in a wheelchair or sitting or in bed. He had a wound/bed sore on the back of his right foot that healed. He broke an arm in a fall 2 weeks ago. Today I noticed his right foot is a swollen, purplish, with very dry skin. Does this sound like a circulatory problem, or kidney? He only has 1 kidney and is in “assisted living.”
