What Does The BP Level Of 152/100 Suggest?

Just visited my doctor on this past Tuesday and my BP was 152/100 I beleive, should I have gotten medicine, he says he will see me again in two weeks to check is again. Is this normal? Should I be stress that something could happen within those two weeks?

Hi
Normal desired range of blood pressure is below 140/90.
But a single office reaching of high blood pressure is not an indication to start anti hypertensive drugs. You need further follow up is blood pressure.
Meanwhile you can also try non pharmacological measures like reduction of dietary salt and saturated fat and also regular exercise to lower bp.
If bp readings are still high, you may need to start drugs to control hypertension.
