MRI findings suggests mild cerebral cortical atrophy.Generally this is a age related finding but this is earlier in your son's case as he is only 17 years old. Cause of mild cerebral cortical atrophy should be investigated. It may be sequel of past infection, generalized ischemia etc. You should consult neurologist.
Mucosal polyp is left maxillary sinus may be due to sequel of chronic sinusitis.Long standing infection may lead to polyp formation. Surgical removal of polyp can be considered after evaluation.
