What Does The Following MRI Results Indicate?

I recently had a moderate stroke which caused numbness on my entire right side, but I m slowly getting my feeling back, etc. In reviewing my MRI results, I noticed there was a small focus diffusion restriction in the periventricular white matter adjacent to the posterior body of the left lateral ventricle. Question: what does this mean in laymen s terms? Thank you, Deborah Talbott

Hello,
I have studied your case. As you are saying that you have a stroke some time back. this MRI report is also proving that thing. There is some amount of damaged to brain. it can be reversible so nothing to be worried. Just make sure that your blood pressure is under control and your blood coagulation profile is normal so that there should not be any recurrence of these episodes.
