Hi, I have gone through your question. The ultrasound report indicates that there the patient is having polycystic ovaries. It can be present in polycystic ovarian disease or can be a isolated finding. In polycystic ovarian disease, there is hormonal disturbances in the body leading to irregular menstrual cycle, irregular or no ovulation, and difficulty in conception. I would suggest the person with such a ultrasound report to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated( including blood sugar levels and hormonal profile) and then further management accordingly. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Regards, Dr Deepti verma
