Hi,

I presume that you have had a hysterectomy. Your sonogram report indicates a swelling in the cervical stump. It is in the form of a complex cyst. If you had a history of endometriosis, this could be an endometrioma; a complex nabothian cyst is another possibility.

Nabothian cysts are a common observation while an endometrioma needs to be attended if symptomatic. Seroma needs proper medical care and so is a hematoma. Further management needs to be planned after a clinical consultation with a specialist.

Hope your query has been answered. Let me know if I can assist you further.

OBGYN Dr. Dr. Rakhi Tayal's  Response
Hello,

You have a complex cyst on your cervix., It can be a benign cyst. It is best to get it removed to rule out any carcinoma.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
