Hello, I have had tramatic incident happen to me approx 2 wks. Since then my BP & HR have been high, I have dealt with high BP, briefly on meds to lower it. I have 3 boys & each time had preeclampsia. I remember dr saying lay on left side, no noise, low light, approx 15-20 helps, so I m doing that now. However can u advice what to do with 106 heart rate? PLEASE! SCARED, NO $, PLEASE!!!!!
Dear I can understand your concern I would like to suggest you that there is no need to panic about 106 heart rate. It may be because of 1.acute anxiety 2 . anaemia 3 . hyperthyroidism 4.any infection . There are so many other causes as well. To confirm the diagnosis we need complete history and examination . In isolation there is no need to worry .but if you have any other problems specially breathlessness or chest pain then you should consult your physician and get your blood pressure etc . checked . If you have any anxiety try to relax iinvolve yourself in recreational activities and discuss with your family members . All this will help you in managing acute anxiety if any. Hope this will help .
