I m suffering from very bad coughing since April. X-rays shows my lungs are clean, yet the following was noted: suboptimal inspiration, mild scoliosis of the thoracic spine concave to the left, bronchitic change was noted bilaterally, slightly coarse bronchovascular markings in the lower lobes. What does all of this means/
Your report suggests slightly increased bronchovascular markings in lower lobes with bilateral bronchitis changes. It may be due to infection, inflammation etc. It is important to rule out infective etiology. You may require antibiotics after clinical assessment. You also need further tests like routine hemogram. Avoid smoking if you are smoker.
Inhalational bronchodilators or steroids may be needed after clinical assessment. Mild scoliosis in dorsal spine may be positional.
