hello I went to the hospital because I was having chest pains an I was told by my mother when I was a kid that I have an enlarge heart. An I the hospital to run testes on me. What does cardiomediastinal silhouette is borderline enlarged means. Does that mean I still have an enlarge heart

Thanks for posting your query. I understand your concerns. Cardiac silhouette is nothing but the borders of the heart as seen in X ray. In your case it's slightly enlarged that means heart is enlarges a little.

That's not a serious condition. Do no worry. Do a complete cardiac work up to rule out any major cardiac anamolies.
