uterus. Isanteverted with central echo genie endometrial stripe measuring about 4mm with well defined endometrial myometrial border. A focal myometrial hypo choice lesion is seen in posterior uterine wall ( intramural) . Size is about 11x10 mm. About surgery or medicine
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It is an hypoechoic lesion (not hypo choice). It is nothing but a small lesion less than one centimeter on the wall of your uterus. Most often it will be a fibroid uterus. Nothing has to be done now and no trey is required. Consult a gynecologist in case of symptoms like bleeding and pain. You can do a follow up scan after six months to assess any increase in size or not.
Wishing you good health.
Thanks.
