Hello, thank you for writing in to HCM. I understand your curiosity to find out what does an ultrasound report have to say about your baby. As per your report, everything seems to be normal. It says that there is one normal foetus in your womb(uterus) & gestational age of your baby is about 21weeks( gestational age is the term used for the fetus during the entire pregnancy).This is estimated by fetal biometry, meaning certain measurements like the abdominal circumference, length of the femur bone etc. Anterior placenta means it is situated towards the front wall(posterior is placenta towards the back wall) of the uterus. Both the cases are normal. Normohydramnios means that your amniotic fluid is normal(oligo/poly terms are the ones you dont want in your report)). The maturity of placenta is measured in grades. And for your stage, grade 2 is fine. All in all, there s nothing to worry. Wish you a safe delivery.
