What Does The Report Of My Pelvic Ultrasound Indicate?
hi doc!i am 13 weeks and 4 days in my pregnancy.Yesterday i undergo pelvic ultrasound because of recurrence of vaginal bleeding.The result is placenta posterior grade 1 totally covering the OS with a 0.8cm overlap.can you please explain this to me...thanks a lot God Bless

It means ur placeta is beginning to format in the lower portion of the uterus at this point it jus means u have to b cautiously avoid intercourse lifting heavy weights straining at stools n travelling in bad roads.. latter scans may show tat the placenta has migrated up mostly in 90% times it will happen rarely it will stay down n we will give u a diagnosis as placenta pre via in tat case u will deliver by lscs. As far as u Don bleed all is good
