What Does These Follicular Study Indicate?
I am 28 years old lady.I got married before 2 years and i am not using any contraption.We consulted doctor before 6 months.They ask to check PCOS, but report was normal and my husband's semen report is also normal.
From last 2 months they ask to do follicular study
Day 10: Right Overy Left Overy endo..
12/12/13 17*20 20*18 10
On the same day they gave me injection
On 14/12/13 asked to keep tablets in vagina for 10 days
Then I got periods on 30/12/13(cycle of 28 days)
Doctor again gave tablets for 5 days
and on 9th day reports were
Day 10: Right Overy Left Overy endo..
7/1/14 17*18 19*16 8
Please help me out to understand this study.How much time period it will take to conceive?And is my report going well.How many chances are there to conceive with this report?

Hi,
According to your first ultrasound report, your ovaries responded well to ovulation induction drugs and you got good size dominant follicles. In present ultrasound report:
- Both the ovaries responded good for ovulation induction drugs.
- Each ovary is having one dominant follicle.
On 10th day, Right ovary is having 17*18 mms follicle and Left ovary is having 19*16 mms follicle. With endometrial thickness of 8 mm. This is good development and possibly on around 11th day your follicles will reach 2 cms size and will be ready for ovulation.
After taking the beta HCG injection it will take around 24 to 36 hrs for ovulation to occur. You have to plan unprotected intercourse around this period which will increase the possibility of pregnancy.
