What Does Thick Yellow Jelly Discharge In Urine Mean?

Hello, I have Ankylosing spondylitis, and am on Prozac and sulfasalazine. I woke up to urinate in the middle of the night, and passed a thick yellow jelly discharge while in mid stream. I am 30 years of age and kind of scared at this point. I have a baby daughter coming, and a beautiful wife. What could this be?

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to a urinary tract infection.

I suggest to do a urine test to confirm the diagnosis.

If the diagnosis is confirmed, I suggest using antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin twice a day for a week.

I also suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms.

I also recommend to drink liquids and especially cranberry juice for relieve.
