OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

The sonogram report suggests possible hormone imbalance. The endometrium is thicker for any phase of the menstrual cycle. If you are in the reproductive stage and have a missed period, exclusion of pregnancy should be done. If you are at menopause, an endometrial biopsy should help along with correction of hormone disturbances, if any. There is no other abnormality noted in the sonogram.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam, OBGYN
