Hello,

Endometrial thickening suggestive of polyp needs further investigation in the form of office biopsy to know its nature, benign or malignant. It is due to hormonal imbalance that the tissue at one place becomes hyperactive and starts growing or could be due to cancerous changes- which needs to be investigated by biopsy. Fibroid of 1 cm is not significant. Unless it grows in size and cause symptoms. Regular sonography to monitor its size is recommended-once in six months or so.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
