What Does This CT Scan Test Result Of The Lumbar Spine After An Injury Indicate?
hi..I had a fall on the ice and fell on my back,,arms,,head...had ct scans and xrays....low back ct scan noted subtle lesions and nondisplaced fractures within the distal sacrum and coccyx...what treatment so I get for this..the er didn t recomend anything!!
Strict bed rest is needed for treatment of fracture in the sacral spine. Application of lumbo sacral belt is also helpful for pain relief. The non-displaced fracture usually helps themselves in a month and rest is recommended for that period.
Take tablet Ultracet P for pain relief and include calcium supplements. Visit orthopedic surgeon for a detailed clinical examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
