What Does This CT Scan Test Result Of The Upper Abdomen Indicate?

My father has multiple enlarged non-necrotic upper retrocaval and few interaortocaval lymphnodes in the visualized upper abdomen, largest of which measures 2.7 * 2cm..how serious is this and what doctor to show him to..he has a history of heart bypass and abdominal TB

If the patient is suffering form tuberculosis, then swelling of lymph nodes is very likely. Swelling of lymph nodes or the size of the lymph nodes does not prove the severity of disease. However, clinical symptoms and imaging study can tell us how serious the disease is and not the lymph nodes. Even after the treatment begins, swelling of the lymph nodes may be seen. Therefore, it may not indicate the cure of the disease during early or later stages.
