What Does This X-ray Of Lung Indicate?

i completed my 6 months medication when i was 53 years old, and the doctor said im already ok, because i was diagnosed in my x-ray fibroids right upper lung, so i got treated for 6 months. but to my dismay last nov. 22, 2014 i had my check up to my doctor and he advised me to have my chest x-ray,FBS, lipid panel, Urinaysis, CBC, all are okey except my lungs same results before There are fibrolinear densities in the right upper lung. What does this means, i was not healed for my 6 mos therapy or medications? Pls advise and help me, im worried for my health now. im 60 years old, height is 5 wight is 57.8

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Any lung insult whether TB or pneumonia or trauma can cause scar tissue. In lungs healing occurs by
1. Fibrosis
2. Calcification
3. Rarely complete resolution.
So on chest x ray it will look as fibrotic scar.
Same is happening in your case. Your previous TB infection is healed in fibrous scar by six months treatment.
So your present x ray is showing fibrolinear densities in same area.
So no need to worry at all asit is inactive, scar tissue. It is not active infection. So youwill not need any ttreatment.
