Hello.I am a 38 year old female in general good health. I ve had surgery once in my life for gallbladder removal in 2009.I had a baby 5 months ago and I was recently diagnosed with postpartum thyroiditis. While being diagnosed with postpartum thyroiditis my doctor ordered a CBC blood test which reflected normal results, except for calcium, which was 10.3. PTH (111.7) was also ordered, suspicious for parathyroid adenoma. On October 27, 2017 I underwent a parathyroid sestamibi scan. I received my test results today: October 30, 2017, which confirmed a parathyroid adenoma, but something else presented itself that has me really concerned!! The scan also showed Multiple Hypodense Foci on my liver, which was ill-defined and suggested a MRI. Having said that, it s got me really upset! Could this mean cancer? Is it possible to have normal blood results but have cancer within your liver?
