What Does This Brain MRI Test Result Indicate?

What does this mean? FINDINGS: There is a small high T2 signal with surrounding gliosis noted in the anterior right temporal lobe, which measures approximately 1.5 cm in diameter. There is associated volume loss. The finding has the appearance of a focal encephalomalacia.

The findings that you have mentioned indicate that there is a history of stroke/infarction that have happened earlier and the changes that you are seeing now in the MRI are the after effects which happens after the stroke.
This is the natural process which happens in the brain after the stroke happens.
