What Does This Chest CT Scan Test Result Indicate?

Hi doc just wanna ask what does it mean the impression is ptb left upper lung? Is it that the person has tubercolosis? Even Though the saliva test was negative. Im confuse.then the result of sgpt alt kinetic says specimen recheked,/results verified. I dont understand really. Can u explain please thank you.

Sputum report is not always confirm about TB or not. Tuberculosis can be seen despite of negative sputum report. Your CT scan is suggestive of suspicious lesion in left upper lobe. This is more suggestive of tuberculosis because tubercular lesions are more in upper lobe. So better to consult pulmonologist and get done repeat sputum report and bronchoscopy and BAL (bronchoalveolar lavage) analysis. BAL is more significant in diagnosis of TB.
