What Does This Chest CT Scan Test Result Indicate?
My husband had a CT scan of the lung and the Dr. said he had a hazy spot on the lung. Did another CT scan 5 months later and it showed hazy spot clearing but 3 more have appeared. Any idea what this could be? He has also had bronchoscopy which no bacteria present.
As per my surgical experience, the hazy spot with a varying presentation at different sites suggests an inflammatory condition with or without allergy. Regular evaluation with a physician, precise care with a necessary antibiotic, anti-inflammatory drugs is recommended.
Later on, it may or may not require a CT guided biopsy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
