What Does This Heart Rate In An Alcoholic Person Indicate?

Hello my boyfriends heart rate at resting tonight was 114 and I am concerned as he is a drinker who is currently trying to cut down..but he has many other health issues most importantly sbs and a tpn line. Could this indicate that he is already starting to experience a tachycardia due to his drinking ?

Slight increase can happen transiently, it will return to normal in couple of hours.

It has got no relation with your alcohol intake.
