What Does This Pelvic CT Scan Test Result Indicate?
Hello, I had a CT and I have several findings. 1. Retroflexed Uterus containing anterior lower uterine segment fibroid measuring 16 mm... 2. Cystocele with associated urinary bladder wall thickening. 3. a 9 mm Nonobstructing lower ole renal calculus, and 4. a 4mm calcified left lower lobe granuloma... Can you tell me what I m looking at? I have an appt with my doctor at the end of this month, but wanted a second option....
Your CT findings are suggestive of multiple problems but there's nothing serious about it. The size of the fibroid is quite small and can be treated with medication only.
For cystocele you might have to undergo surgery. Calculi is small in size, Alkalizers like K-Cit with a glass of water twice in a day with plenty of fluid intakes will help.
A calcified granuloma is a specific type of tissue inflammation that has become classified over time.
Since they are almost benign they typically don't need treatment unless you have an active infection that's causing the granuloma formation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
