What Does This Pelvic Ultrasound Report Indicate?

I got a feeling that I m pregnant, so I went for a PELVIC scan. The question now is I need explanation on d result I collected from d Lab and it read as thus; The Uterus is non - gravid, anteverted, elongated, of homogenous myommettrial echopattern. It measures about (70x50x40)mm in length, width and AP diameter respectively. There is an echo - free spherical density which measures about (25x20)mm in size noted at the left adnexa, this is possibly a left functional ovarian cyst. The endometrial plate echo - line appears normal. The pouch of Douglas is free. No retained product of conception seen. No uterine lesion seen. The general uterine outline is regular and consistent.

Hello,

The report shows that you are not pregnant and your uterus and ovaries are normal except for a small cyst. You can follow it up with another scan after three months.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. B. Radhakrishnan. Nair
