What Does This Pelvic Ultrasound Test Result For Persistent Vaginal Bleeding Indicate?

Hello, I am 47 years old and have had very heavy bleeding for over a month. The condition started about a year and a half ago but my doctor did not find any issues in my biopsy. I have to do another biopsy since the condition has worsen and the bleeding is not stopping. I am taking 5mg hormone to slow down the bleeding and I am an taking iron peels.Now my ultrasound came back with uterus measuring 17.6x12.3x8.5 with myometrial echotexture is heterogeneous. the largest fibroid size is 6.8x9.1x7.9 and I have cyst on the endometrial strip measuring 22mm. What does all mean? please help

Hello,

You have a large fibroid in your uterus and it is causing all the symptoms. Nothing much to worry as it is a harmless and non cancerous thing and can be easily removed. Consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
