This is a condition wherein the ovaries malfunction with several follicles developing at the same time but not until maturity and ovulation is either inhibited or irregular. This leads to irregular menstrual periods and infertility. The associated hormone imbalance can lead to obesity, hair fall, unwanted hair growth , cysts of the ovary etc. This condition responds to treatment and life style changes very well.
