What Does This Pelvic Ultrasound Test Result Indicate?
UTERUS Uterine cavity is normal in size and shape. No intraluminal filling defect is seen. No mass is seen. FALLOPIAN TUBES Distal end of both fallopian tubes are dilated and tortuous (left more than right). Spill on the left side is loculated. Free spillage is seen on right side. IMPRESSION Bilateral hydrosalpinx (Left Right) with loculated spill on left side. what does it mean? are my both fallopian tubes blocked?
This ultrasound shows a normal uterus. The tubes are tortuous and wide and filled with water. This means that they can't let egg to come down from ovary to tube and does not let even spermatozoids to get up. This means that infertility comes from blocked tubes.
