Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Mucous with red blood cell (RBC) with pus cell may be due to
1. Bacillary or amoebic dysentery.
2. Inflammatory bowel disease.
3. Irritable bowel syndrome.
4. Cystic fibrosis.
5. Lactose intolerance.
6. Celiac disease.
7. Proctitis.
8. Anal abscess etcetera.
Until examination, is done through endoscopy and colonoscopy or with biopsy or stool culture and sensitivity it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
