Can you explain thyroid results... Enlarged left lobe measures 6.3 x 1.7 x 2.9 cm. 4.8 x 1.8 x 2.9 cm nodule in the mid to lower pole is solid, mostly isoechoic with small hypoechoic foci, parallel orientated with well-circumscribed margins and without microcalcifications. Normal sized right thyroid lobe measures 3.9 x 1.0 x 1.3 cm. 1.2 x 0.5 x 0.5 cm well-circumscribed solid hypoechoic nodule in the lower pole with parallel orientation and without microcalcifications.

You have nodules in both lobes of thyroid, the only way of knowing the type of nodules is either Fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) or simple biopsy.
The nodules can be of any thing, either simply non neoplastic or malignant also. Most commonly, they are benign follicular nodules because of hyper and hypo activity of thyroid gland.
