Hi, I have recently had two thyroid function blood tests - one in July 14 and one in Sept 14. In July T4 was 13.2 (12-22) and TSH was 0.08. I was retested in Sept and T4 was 14.2 and TSH 0.09. Having been to see my GP he indicated this to be unusual and has referred me to see an endocrinologist. I am due to be retested next week whilst waiting for my appointment with endo. Please could you tell me your thoughts on what these results may mean or what the endo may say?
ITS POSSIBLE THAT YOUR ARE SUFFERING FROM HYPERTHYROIDISM. Your endo will check your thyroid gland ,if necessary may suggest radionuclear scan of thyroid gland.
he may suggest some medications depending upon the cause of hyperthyroidism.
