Dear,Sir i got repots 1. ultra sound scan of neck: large cystic lesions in and above the right half of isthmus in the mid line . possible dignosis- colloid cyst, thyroglossal cyst 2. FNAC- MIDLINE NECK SWELLING: features suggestive of EPIDERMAL CYST 3. T3,T4&TSH: NORMAL what is the your suggestions rgarding above tests results
1. By ultrasound neck there is a large fluid filled swelling in your neck. It is a benign cyst and not a worry for cancer. These cysts might have been there at birth and manifested to present size with time.
2. An epidermal cyst is a type of slow-growing lump underneath the skin. This cyst contains soft, cheese-like skin contents. These usually appear on the face, neck. This is a benign swelling.
