I am 36. I have had three healthy pregnancies. I had an ultrasound and this is what the report says "The right ovary measures 2.6 X 2.3 X 2.1 cm. A hypoechoic lesion with a mildly nodular wall is noted within the right ovary measuring 1.1 X 1.1 X 0.9 cm. Other follicular cysts are noted in the right ovary. The left ovary measures 3.1 X 2.3 X 2.0 cm. Multiple follicles are noted within left ovary." My question is abou the lesion with mildly nodular walls. What is this and should it be removed immediately?
