What Does This Ultrasound Report On The Uterus Indicate?
Please help interprete below ultrascan report. A bulky non gravid anteverted uterus with heterogenous myometral echos. A large pedunculated Subserous myoma 99x96mm is seen extending from the fundus to the epigastric region . Other smaller fibroids are seen in the posterior wall. The endometral plate is displaced anteriorly There is no hydronephrosis. There is no ascites. Thank you

The sonogram has reported multiple fibroids in the uterus, one of them located superficially on top of the uterus and large enough to have a peduncle. This is the subserous myoma. If left untreated, it can lead to obstruction, pressure effects on the neighboring organs, torsion of the peduncle leading to an emergency and so on.
