What Does Tiny Lump On Forehead Near The Headline Indicate?
I've had a tiny lump on my forehead near my headline for a long time. Now it is getting bigger. It's not a zit. It's hard and doesn't seem to have fluid in it. What it is? Can it be easily removed, and should I be concerned? It isn't dark. I would think it was just a zit but it doesn't have a head and it can't even be squeezed, it's that hard. It is kind of painful, but mostly annoying because it is getting bigger.
Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic. From your history and description, the possible differentials include calcified sebaceous cyst, spitz nevus, trichoepithelioma, trichilemmoma ( small benign tumours arising from hair follicles), leiomyoma ( benign swelling arising from smooth muscle cells in the skin) and dermatofibroma. If it is bothering you, you could get it biopsied to confirm the diagnosis. this could be followed by a surgical excision by a dermatosurgeon/plastic surgeon. Hope this helped you. Take care.
