What Does Unusual Cervix Test In Smear Test Imply?

Hi I went for my first smear test a few days ago. The nurse has referred me to a gynaecologist as she described my cervix as unusual . There appear to be lobes around the area that she could see and there was some Swelling. I m terrified that this could be something severe.

hi healthcare magic user, pain is screening method to detect early lesion of cervix. for confirmation you need to consult gynaecologist.
if I would have been your doctor I would have done local examination per speculum examination to see what kind of lesion it is it could be polyp, cervicitis, or early cancer lesion of the cervix.
if cancer lesion is suspected need to go for biopsy for confirmation.
