What Does White Discharge Despite Negative Pregnancy Test Indicate?
Hi I am 33 year old. Since last 6 years my periods were regular cycle of 28 days. now It got delayed by 15 days I get white mucas , I feel some pull in lower abdomin and I feel heavy headed. A week back I took blood test I got pregnancy test negtive. Is there any health issues what should I do?
Hi, In the current scenario, you should see a specialist, get a complete clinical evaluation and also get a trans-vaginal sonogram to see the status of the pelvic organs. White discharge is a normal phenomenon throughout the menstrual cycle and the consistency varies with hormone status. If there is an infection, it can be profuse, altered in color and smell and associated with itching and burning. A swab and urinalysis will help to sort out an infection of the genital area and in the presence of an infection, periods can get delayed. Please follow your consultant's suggestions for further management. Take care.
