What Does Yellowish Pus Discharge From Eyes And Nose Indicate?

HELP !!! My 1year old has yellowish pus coming out of both eyes & nose ! At first it was only one eye & I thought it was getting better because during the day, he was o.k. Only got bad & eyes crusted over during sleep. But today its in both eyes. Im really baffled about it coming out of his nose too ! What could it be ?? Kimberly King

It is bacterial infection of both eye and retrograde infection of nose through naso lacrimal duct. For your condition oral anti biotic like ezy throcin 500mg daily for 3days is requested. Apply ofloxacin .3% eye drop 6hourly. Continue the treatment for 7days. He should be alright. in one week.
