hi, I had my blood test done . I had cancer 7 years ago ,so I have no longer thyroid gland. thyroid profile TSH,3rd Gen o,ooo8 L ok T4 free 1.78 H ok, thyroglobuline TG 0.20 ok it s seams my generalist forget to ask for T3 right? .ok I am taking synthroid 112 . he wants me to go for 100. I feel very good. only pain in joint. my question is why I use to have a endocrinologist doct. yer. love him. but now is doing some thing else. what do you thing/
You are now over replaced with thyroid hormone, which we usually do in case of thyroid cancer. Since your TG is low, the chance of recurrence is low. That is the reason why your Endo has decreased the dose.
